Frequently Asked Questions
If this page doesn’t answer your question, please contact us at [email protected] with the subject line “JBDT”
Katie:
How is the JBDT structured?
Support:
The tournament consists of several stages:
  1. Gamified soft-skills modules — reveal your behavioral and cognitive traits
  2. Short testing stage — quick logic and attention checks
  3. Pitch stage — a 2–3 minute video where you explain why you should be selected
  4. SalesMaster simulator — sell 3 products to 3 different types of clients
All stages can be completed at your own pace within the deadline.
Katie:
How are the tasks evaluated?
Support:
Evaluation happens in a mixed format:
  • Automatically: gamified modules, part of the reasoning tests, portions of the SalesMaster results
  • By AI models: structured responses, communication patterns, negotiation logic
  • Manually by experts: your pitch, open-ended answers, clarity of thinking, understanding of the domain
The average evaluation time is 4–5 days, including personalized feedback for all candidates.
If there are many applicants, the review process may take longer.
Katie:
What will I receive after completing the tournament?
Support:
Even if you don’t reach the final stage:
  • you will receive a detailed soft-skills and personality feedback report
  • candidates with strong results enter the Dandelion Talent Pool
  • we may recommend you to partner companies for job opportunities
  • you receive priority access to future JBDT waves
Finalists are invited to interviews and considered for roles within Dandelion.
Katie:
How many deals must I close in the SalesMaster simulator?
Support:
You must complete 3 successful deals:
  • in 3 different product categories,
  • with 3 different client types (Common / Notable / Elite).
Katie:
How do I know that my deal was successfully recorded?
Support:
  • the client agrees to buy / try / demo,
  • the product appears in the cart,
  • you press the Finish / Handshake button,
  • a success message appears in your dashboard.
  • If you don’t see confirmation, the deal was not registered.
Katie:
The client agreed, but the product didn’t appear in the cart. What should I do?
Support:
Try the following:
  • set quantity = 1
  • choose a different package within the same category
  • restart the scenario if the cart remains empty
  • If the issue persists, email [email protected] with the subject JBDT.
Katie:
The simulator keeps repeating the same message or says “try again.” Why?
Support:
This happens when messages are:
  • too long,
  • unclear for the AI model,
  • or include multiple ideas at once.
  • Try sending shorter, focused messages.
Katie:
I completed my sales but my progress did not update.
Support:
Usually this means one of the deals was not finalized.
Check that you:
  • received a clear “yes” from the client
  • added the product to the cart
  • pressed the final submission button
  • saw the success pop-up on your dashboard
Katie:
My access code or password doesn’t work.
Support:
Please:
  • make sure you use the same email you used during registration
  • request a new access code or reset link
  • If the issue continues, write to us with the subject JBDT.
Katie:
Does the system save my progress?
Support:
  • Gamified modules — save automatically
  • Completed SalesMaster deals — also saved
  • Ongoing chats are not saved
  • If you close the tab or the session expires, the current simulation will restart
